Check before ordering

  • Platform reference: original ThinkSystem SR650 (7X05 / 7X06). This entry does not establish compatibility with SR650 V2 or V3.
  • Match the complete 3.5-inch Lenovo option, including its carrier, to the backplane, controller and cable path. The option form factor does not establish the dimensions of the internal bare SSD.
  • Confirm a supported SAS RAID controller or HBA and its firmware; do not treat a SATA-only connection as a SAS storage path.
  • The guide marks this option as not supporting SED. If encryption is required, specify and qualify a different exact option.
  • In the documented 12-bay 3.5-inch layout with an 8-port controller, the four AnyBay positions are NVMe-only; do not use them for this SAS/SATA option.
  • Rear 3.5-inch drive kits change PCIe riser availability and require the correct storage-controller connection.
  • The table lists a maximum of 14 for this option; usable quantity depends on the installed chassis, backplanes and controllers. This is not an inventory quantity.
  • For a used SSD, request health and wear data, firmware, label and connector photos; agree the supplied condition and warranty in the quotation.

Use this Lenovo option number for the requested drive. Match the installed spare or FRU label separately.
