- Choose the DX200 S5 dual-controller 32Gb FC configuration, qualified Fujitsu channel adapters and approved drives. This is a SAN block-storage example.
- The switch family is documented with the array; that does not certify this complete RX2530 M7/OS/HBA combination. Review its host connection guide and multipath software before deployment.
- Keep fabrics A and B isolated. Use supported initiator/target zoning, LUN masking and host multipathing. Do not connect them with an Ethernet-style peer link.
- Two HBA ports provide path diversity, but one dual-port adapter remains a shared failure point. Use separately qualified adapters when adapter-level redundancy is required.

Use the DX200 S5 10GbE iSCSI host-interface configuration with separate storage subnets. Two candidate Dell S5248F-ON Ethernet switches carry 10GbE links to qualified PRIMERGY NICs and both controllers.
- This is a proposed 10GbE iSCSI design; verify the ETERNUS channel adapters, both switch endpoints and the exact server/OS/NIC combination.
- Keep iSCSI subnets distinct and use supported multipathing. Do not configure FC zoning or connect FC optics to Ethernet ports.
- The array offers 1/10GbE iSCSI options; this example specifically uses 10GbE optical connections. Validate reach, connector and module support end to end.

Choose the exact RX2530 M7 chassis
The PRIMERGY RX2530 M7 combines two processor sockets, DDR5 memory and several front-storage layouts in a 1U rack system. A listing identified only by the model family does not tell you which base unit or installed parts you will receive.
The illustrated front panel represents the ten 2.5-inch drive-bay version. Fujitsu also lists four 3.5-inch and eight 2.5-inch base units. Compare front-bay count, drive carriers and controller/backplane type with the offered-unit photographs and system label before ordering.
Processor, memory and expansion checks
Confirm the exact 4th- or 5th-generation Xeon processors, DIMM population, capacity and speed, and any OCP or PCIe adapters. The published 32-slot and 8 TB figures describe platform limits, not the memory installed in an offered server.
Procurement checklist
- Request the Fujitsu system label and complete configuration identifier, plus clear front and rear photos of the offered unit.
- Record front-bay variant, carrier count, controller, installed disks and whether drive caddies or blanking modules are included.
- Check processor and DIMM population, network/OCP adapter, PCIe risers, power supplies, rails and firmware requirements.
